This is a 20TH MAINE REGIMENT FLAG. It is NEW. It is NOT PRINTED. This Flag is COMPLETELY SEWN. The Flag pictured is to Show the Design Only. The 20th Maine was organized in the state of Maine on August 20,1862 with Colonel Albert Ames as its commander. It became part of Colonel Strong Vincent's Brigade of the 1st Division pf the V Corps of the Army of the Potomac. The Brogade consisted of the 16th Michigan Infantry, 44th New York Infantry, 83rd Pennsylvania and the 20th Maine. Infantry. The Regiment was commanded by Colonel Joshua L. Chamberlain. This Flag is made from 100% Cotton. It has a Cotton Canvas Header and Brass Grommets. The Fly is Double Stitched. The Flag Size is 3 Feet by 5 Feet. This Flag is BRAND NEW and NEVER USED. Our Flags are COMPLETELY SEWN as were the Originals. We DO NOT Iron On, Stencil or Glue on Flag Components as some others do. Beware of Cheap Imitations claiming to be sewn.
